Strive approached Lucid with a goal in mind to create a new brand and website which would support their new business venture, but were not sure how to achieve this goal. Having delivered support and advisory services through coaching and mentoring within the Early Years sector, Strive wanted to express that they were also offering these services across several other sectors using the same skills and expertise that they had gained throughout their thirty plus year career.
As this was a new business, once a name was established, a brand identity was required as well as a website.
Lucid met with Debra McAndrew, business owner, to discuss the vision and aims for Strive in order to gain a strong understanding of the types of audience that Strive would be working with and therefore, the audience that the brand must appeal to. It was important that we established the needs of the people that Strive would deliver their services to so we could create a brand that they would engage with and a look and feel that was appropriate.
Debra has extensive knowledge in her field as well as recently being awarded ‘Coach of the Year in Education’ and so we wanted to get this message across on the website. The website needed to appeal to both male and female audiences to all types of business owners and individuals.
With our research carried out, we produced a brand identity along with brand guidelines and stationery. We also applied the new brand to the web design and built a custom, CMS editable website which is simple, clean and clearly illustrates the services available for both personal and business customers.
The website sets Strive apart from any competition with its bold yet simple and stylish design and is a site that the company can be proud of to market them as a business.
The website is a strong marketing tool for Strive as they are able to showcase monthly blogs for ongoing SEO work, list events and also add to their case studies as and when they wish through the simple content management system.
I knew what I wanted from my website and the sort of look but trying to put it into words was difficult. Lucid had ways of asking the right questions: helping me to consider the important things; my brand and the way I wanted to present myself and my services through my website. They used this information to create just what I wanted. Thank you!
